The Union Burying Ground is one of the oldest cemeteries in Burlington, established by a group of United Empire Loyalists in 1848. The cemetery was designated under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1995 and is currently under the care of the City of Burlington.
In 2024 the Burlington Historical Society established a Cemetery Care Project. As part of the project, BHS volunteers undertook cleaning and restoring headstones in the cemetery. This collection contains photographs of the project and finished headstones.
Collection belongs to the Burlington Historical Society.
